Welcome Fellow Gear Heads (young and old)!
This site was created for a long time gear head that wants to showcase old, local cars.
I truly enjoy sharing stories about old cars of the past and learning about cars in general.
Much info about cars has been acquired since my early childhood years in the 1960s.
Lasting Friendships and Community
Perhaps through this site, a community will be created and lasting friendships developed for years to come. After all, the Car Stuff Guy doesn’t claim to know everything about cars. So, together we can get more accomplished in learning and paying it forward which is especially true concerning the younger generation. Will you join me in trying to teach others about one of my favorite subjects…the awesome cars of the past?
Over the years, my friends and acquaintances have called me seeking my opinion and advice about cars. Hopefully this site will provide a much broader “vehicle” to help other gear heads with their projects. And, there could be some car stuff for sale in my inventory that you may be needing for your car project.
As for the images furnished on this site, some are from other sites which permit the use. Many of the photos selected are from local car owners. And, there are a lot! The plan is to showcase photos of cars owned by folks who live in the great State of Georgia (there are plenty around, too). The primary focus is on the northern part of the state, such as Whitfield, Gordon and Murray counties.
